Floating: Exploring Transition and Emergence (Session 1: SPIRIT)

As we make transitions, both small and large, we experience the liminal—the feeling of neither here nor there. We are in that moment as a society and globally, and this series co-designed and co-facilitated with Ari Sahagún offers practices and perspectives on navigating transition and emergence at an individual, collective and cultural level.

These sessions—occurring bimonthly until June 18— are built around four interconnected themes: Spirit, Nature, Power, and Networks. Each session will introduce a theme and related strategic question, share core practices connected to that theme, and offer an opportunity for reflection and dialogue.

In this session, we’ll explore our connection to what is larger than ourselves and the connectedness that exists in our relationships to people and place—whether we refer to that as spirit or as something else. We’ll share practices that invite that connection and discuss the potential for our presence and our work that come from connecting to spirit.
