Reckoning: A Circle for White Men Around Race and Gender

As part of our work in the world, white cis-males engaged in social change must contend with how we show up, our understanding of whiteness and toxic masculinity, clarifying our role moving forward, and ensuring accountability for our actions. This small, consistent group will meet initially over the course of four Mondays (bimonthly between May 3 and June 14) to explore the shape of what an ongoing dialogue and accountability work looks like individually and collectively.

“Reckoning” comes from a root word focused on accountability, clarity, consideration of viewpoint and assessment of role. It is my hope that these sessions can provide all of that as a basis for growing awareness, shifting behavior, and inspiring powerful action.

Please be in touch directly with me to learn more or to register, which involves completing a brief survey (which I’m completing too!) so that I, and the group, can have a clearer sense of your interest and commitment to this type of work.
